Ricardo Queresma must be the transfer flop of the season. Inter signed the speedy winger from Porto during the closing days of the transfer market in the summer. He was bought with many expectations and also for a overwhelming price tag. It was Queresma country man and Inter trainer Jose Mourinho that wanted him the most. Rumours even suggested that Inters president Moratti didn't want Queresma at all. As we know from the past Mourinho has always had a fond taste for wingers. He began using the 4-3-3 formation with Queresma playing as a wing-forward. This was expected to be the ideal position for Quersema. But that was not to be. Quersema wasn't dribbling past his oppenents or show off his tricks like he did in Porto. It was clearly visible to see that Quersema lacked self confidence. Eventually Mourinho scraped the 4-3-3 and Queresma was forced to the bench.
This isn't the first time Mourinho has flopped at big club. Previously, he was a equally big flop at Barca. Maybe Queresma isn't a big team player?
