FCBarcelona's opportunities in the left

Ronaldinho's left a big empty space on the left. Who will pursuit the Brazilians magic?
Here are my nominees:

Arshavin: After his successful Euro 2008, Arshavin has earned himself "star credit" from the football world and also a lot of interest from clubs bigger than his current side Zenit Saint Petersburg. Arshavin has hinted that he would love to play for child long favourite team FCBarcelona and reports claim that his dreams could come true. I think he would be very suitable for the position because of his great play making skills and speed. Some may doubt his ability to cope in a top club as Barcelona but I believe the Russian could do the job well.

Silva: Silva has proved the world that he is a great football player. Even though he just signed a new deal with Valencia, Barcelona have continued their interest for the Spanish international. David Silva can play as typical number 10. He is also fast and has great control. If Barcelona manage to lure him away from Valencia, Barcelona would defiantly have a stronger side.

No one: Who needs another player! On the paper Barcelona has a great side, which is also shown on the pitch. While Ronaldinho was having his injury and form problems, Iniesta sometimes had to play on the Brazilians position. Even though he might be better on his normal midfield position, Iniesta did a very could job of it. Iniesta used his playmaking skill and close control in the position higher up as if he was doing it everyday. Henry was also sometimes forced to play on the left flank. Even though he didn't do the job as well as Iniesta, he still proved he is capable of playing in that position.

My vote: Arshavin

Top 10 Transfers of the Summer

10.Keita, Sevilla to FCBarcelona
Yaya Toure and Keita could form one of La Liga's strongest central midfield. Having him and Toure on the pitch could give more freedom to creative players such as Messi, Ineista and Xavi. A real smart move by Barca.

9. Nasri, Marseille to Arsenal
The young Gunners seem like their always getting younger. The latest addition to their squad is none other than Nasri, the highly rated french man. Not only is he highly rated but he is also been tagged as the new Zidane. A great buy for Arsenal.

8. Dos Santos, FCBarcelona to Tottenham
Dos Santos definitely has a lot of good years ahead of him. Thats why Tottenham bought the Mexican youngster. In Barcelona he was overshadowed by the more eager and determined Bojan Krkic. Now he has another chance to prove himself.

7. Flamini, Arsenal to ACMilan
A stroke of genius or just another player? Well, it doesn't matter cause Milan got the the French man for free!

6. Deco, FCBarcelona to Chelsea
One may say Deco is way past his prime. Others may believe that Deco just needs a change of atmosphere. After an impressive Euro cup with Portugal , Chelsea snapped up the creative playmaker who was reunited with old Portugal coach Scolari. Who knows, he could be the missing piece of creativity that Chelsea might need in the future, or at least for as long Deco holds.

5. Ronaldinho, FCBarcelona to ACMilan.
Two years ago if this transfer would have taken place it wouldn't have been 5th place on my list but certainly on the top. Ronaldinho now has had a gigantic dip of form compared to the earlier times in Barcelona. That is also why Milan got him for a third of his price tag from last year. This transfer could be labeled as a high risking gamble but some dieting and extra training could bring Ronaldinho back on top!

4. Dani Alves, Sevilla to FCBarcelona
Over the last year Dani Alves has been linked with various top clubs in various leagues. Eventually, Barcelona were the lucky team to get the Brazilians signature. The offensive wing back is the perfect replacement for the home returning Zambrotta.

Football: The Beautiful Game!

Football, What is Football? Well of course its a sport but thats not just it. Is it a way to get some exercise? Well, you could say so but I think there is still a lot more. Is football a game in which you have to score more goals than your opposition? Definitely! But I believe there is still more to it. Is football a passion for millions of people around the globe? Bingo. Thats it. Football is not just a sport involving 11 players, a ball, and two goals but most importantly its a sport involving passion and respect and tears and laughs. It's a game that makes you sit on the edge of your seat. It's game that makes you proudly wear your team's colours. It's a game that makes you cheer from the bottom of your heart. It's game in which losing is tough and winning unbelievable. Its a game for us, the people to worship, enjoy and to watch with emotions raging like the determination in the players eyes. That is football...
